Books That Have Taught Me Technical Product Management
tl;dr: I recently saw a LinkedIn post that asked for a list of books helpful for upping one's game as a technical product manager. This post is the result.
What is Technical Product Management?
I think of it as the combo/intersection of product management and technical work, so books that help me sharpen either of those are really valuable to me.
Here's a list of some of the books that have been most pivotal in my experience and have really helped me in my roles, especially as a PM.
I'm not including anything technical in this post, because it's gonna vary widely with what you're interested in? APIs? Databases? JS libraries? Search algorithms? Google books about those things. But here's a list of books about product management and related skills and ideas that have really influenced me. I may revisit and revise in the future.
